Mind Over Matter!

Since setting out on this fitness journey I have learned things about myself and I have learned even more about the power of Mind over Matter, the inner strength that will take you to the finish line, the determination that eats away at you, this lies in all of us.  I have heard phrases such as "Again?" "Really?" "Didn't we already do this?" "We have to run for how long?" "This hurts" "This Sucks" and my favorite "I can't do it!".  My point you ask?  Is that even though those these words are spoken you manage to finish, you manage to push yourself and the feeling that you feel when you have completed the task is amazing.  I want for all of you to have that feeling to feel that you have left everything out on the track, the field, the gym, where ever it is, every workout should be Mind over Matter, your mind getting you thru it when physically you want to quit! your tired! and you want to go home! This week set a goal for yourself, instead of saying I can't, say I will, I'm going to, I want to and get it done.  We have to be held accountable for everything even when we exercise.  You are most important, you are in charge of your own destination and you have to take yourself to that finish line!  Your body might not have the strength but your mind will always get you there.  And if you can't find the strength in yourself then find it amongst the amazing support system you have with you every morning.  What is often missed when starting a health and wellness program is that your inner being needs to be just as in check as your physical being.  Without inner strength and determination you will always come up short, you will always quit, you have to believe in yourself and be mentally prepared for what lies ahead.
