Taking Time

We are all so busy trying to handle and juggle a million things, work, exercise, relationships including marriages and friendships, children, family, shopping, etc.  It is hard to imagine that we get as much done in one day or week as we do especially with the many interruptions that come along with life itself!
When we think of all of the things we have to get accomplished we often become overwhelmed and what is the one thing we are willing to sacrifice in order to get all of the other tasks completed??? We are willing to sweep exercise and healthy living under the carpet!! Amazingly instead of taking it slow maybe asking for help or even skipping a shopping trip, we give up the time we should take for ourselves to make sure we are leading a healthy life.  We often forget that at the core of being a good friend, spouse, sister, daughter, mother, employee, etc, that in order to wear all of our hats we need to be at our best, feeling our best, looking our best so that we can accomplish great things in all aspects of our lives.

Take time each day to set a game plan, to review in your head who you are, who you want to be and how you are going to get there.  Don't get too caught up in the "busy" as you will lose sight of your goals and yourself!  You can't be everything to anyone else if you aren't everything to yourself!  Set a fitness goal, set a healthy eating goal, and remember to review your game plan on a daily basis if you can.

Now it's off to get myself ready for my 9-5 job, get my kids showered, dressed and ready for school, get them to school and get myself to work, oh yeah and get my hubby up and out the door as well.  I am ready to rock because I reviewed my game plan, worked out, ate a healthy breakfast! and wrote this entry, energized and ready to roll!! Whhhaaaalllaaaa it really works!! Have a great day!
